D4KFL Palmetto 4th Session

Wednesday October 14 was our 4th session at Palmetto. Maddy Tormey, Jaz Pinder, Kelli McCauley and Kirsten Waton from the Olympia HS volleyball team came by to help out. We checked all of the kids goal journals and had some GREAT entries and LOTS of hard work over the last week. The kids all did a great job keeping track of everything they did to help reach their academic goals. At the end of class Ms. Brewer taught the kids the beginnings of the metric system Kilo, Hecta, Deca, Deci, Centi, Milli (or Kings, Humans, Dragons, Dogs, Cats and Mice).

Volleyball went really well as the kids continued to learn how to pass, hit and block and also some 6 on 6. they're getting a LOT better at getting more than one contact on their side of the net.
